Park City Live – World Famous Venue

Park City Live is a live music venue located in the memorial building on the historic main street of Park City. The town where it is located is a world renowned ski town. The venue is the largest located in this town and has capacity for 750 people. This venue opened in 2012, and has hosted some of Utah’s most popular concerts yet. It has become a staple feature during the well known Sundance Film Festival, which occurs every year during February. Previous artists that have performed here are Slash, Avicii, Ludacris, Steve Aoki, and so much more. Click here to see a complete list of all upcoming shows.

Park City Live holds shows year round, even during the winter weather. The venue is indoors, but when attending a show in the Winter months, it is always recommended to bring a jacket. Park City’s temperatures can fall below freezing, which is why the venue decided to offer a coat check at the door. It is $5 per person. If you bring a backpack, you may be required to leave it at the coat check. A valid ID is required for entry. Any outside food and beverages, illegal substances, and weapons are prohibited on the premises. There is a designated smoking area in front of the venue, but once inside smoking is no longer allowed.

The venue is 10,600 sq. ft. and is made for standing room only. There are two floors in the venue. The first is one big open area, with a stage at the front. The second floor is a balcony that looks over to the stage. There is a VIP section on this floor that has private booths and tables to rent for an additional cost. At certain concerts, this section is not open, and it is recommended to call the venue first due to the possibility of minimum seating. This is a more intimate venue, so even if you do not reserve seating you will still have a great view of the show. The main floor area is a fun area for people wanting to dance and sing, and the second floor balcony is a more relaxed area for people wanting to watch the show and enjoy their drinks.

When attending the venue, you enter through the back. There is a bar at the back of the main area, and the stage is at the front. Bathrooms are located at the right hand of the stage, and there is a bar on both sides. The stairs to the second floor are located at the back of the ground floor near the biggest bar. At the back of the second floor, there is another bar called the sky bar. All bars are full service, and the last call is at 1 a.m. No food is offered here, but there are many surrounding restaurants that are a good place to stop and have dinner before the show. If you choose to eat, don’t lose track of time. Admission after 10:30 p.m. is not guaranteed and re-entry is not allowed.

There are many parking locations surrounding main street, including free and pay by the hour. If you are worried about parking, all ride share services will drop off and pick up at this location.
