Big Biscuits in a Small Town

Woodland Biscuit Company

The cutest little breakfast place in all of Summit County! An old general store converted to a breakfast biscuit joint in Park City, Utah.
Isn't that just adorable?

This one is definitely off the beaten path. If you’re looking for classic food served in innovative ways, go to Woodland Biscuit Company. Located in an old General store in Woodland, Utah. About 45 minutes drive east of Salt Lake City, you will not be disappointed. It’s a classic small-town joint that is only open 18 hours a week (Friday-Sunday: 8am-2pm) and serves breakfast and lunch.

Delicious skillet biscuits made to order.

Old-Timer classic breakfast of Biscuits and Gravy. A true small-town classic.
can't beat an old-timey classic

Go check out their menu right now. http://www.woodlandbiscuitcompany.com Seriously, if you didn’t click the link then do it now.

Menu: As I hope you just saw, the menu is jam-packed with goodies. Fairly decently priced as well. Most of their items are between $8-12 and will leave you feeling extremely satisfied. Even some of their smaller items would be good for a whole meal themselves, but you're gonna want to try a few different things while you're there.

This is one of my favorite places to go when visiting or driving through Park City because it’s only about a 15 minute detour and the food is soooooo good. Here’s the address: 2734 E State Hwy 35, Francis, UT 84036.

I would highly recommend going either early (as soon as they open), or later on (after 12pm) as their strange opening hours cause for quite a crowd to build up. Last time I visited I arrived at peak weekend breakfast time, around 10:30 am, and I waited about an hour to be seated. IT WAS WORTH IT.

I have yet to eat something bad at the Woodland Biscuit Company, but one of my favorites on the menu was The Messy. Picture an open-faced biscuit topped with organic peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, jam, and sugar-chopped almonds on top. It’s incredible. If you’re in the mood for something savory, their sandwiches are very delicious as well. I love The Blue which is basically just a big mess of biscuit, bacon, scrambled eggs, and other goodness.

This place is a great option for someone who wants to make a day out of the Uinta Mountains. Woodland Biscuit Company is located right in the foothills of the Uintas. A 20 minute drive east and you can find yourself on top of the Mirror Lake Highway at an elevation of 10,687 feet, all on a paved road with some of the most incredible views you’ll ever see! Treat yourself to an incredible brunch and a day in the mountains!
