When it comes to skiing and snowboarding, Snowbird offers an incredible experience that is unlike that of most other resorts. Snowbird’s intricate system consists of 10 lifts and a tram allowing access to over 2,500 acres of terrain, and 160 individual runs. Snowbird receives the second most average snowfall of any ski area in the United States, so you won’t have any trouble finding the good stuff.
When it comes to challenging terrain, Snowbird is at the top of the heap. Whether you are willing to charge all day or just take it easy, there are numerous different trail systems each with their own unique benefits. For the more experienced guests, we recommend the cirque - a wide open bowl offering entry from both sides to anyone looking for the steep and deep. Other challenging terrain can be found off Gad 2 and Peruvian. If technical terrain isn’t your style, no sweat. Snowbird also has Chickadee, Mid-Gad, and Baby Thunder which all offer more mellow terrain.
Looking to hone your skills? Whether you’re a 3 year old child or a 30 year old weekend warrior, Snowbird offers ski and snowboard lessons to all ability levels. To find which lesson is right for you, check out Snowbird's website.
