Experience a new way to play golf. Topgolf is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for entertainment. Hang out with friends, eat great food, listen to music, and practice your swing. Reserve a bay by the hour on any level. The bottom level is family friendly or play at an upper level to enjoy the bar. There are multiple games to play. The most popular game, topgolf, allows you to compete against your friends to get the highest score. Players have to hit a golf ball into a target. The farther the target, the more points you receive. Topgolf is located in Midvale on 920 Jordan River Blvd. Hours are Monday – Thursday and Sundays from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, they are open from 9:00 am to 12:00 am. Whether you’re an expert or you have never touched a club in your life, you’re sure to have fun at Topgolf. 

2. Twist

Twist is tucked away in downtown Salt Lake right off 4th south and State Street. Twist has an assortment of bar food that you can enjoy with friends. During the week they will have several specials such as $.50 wings or tacos. On Tuesdays you can test your vocal cords for karaoke. They also host several live music events throughout the week. Get there early on Friday or Saturday if you don’t like waiting in line outside because it can get crowded.

3. Punchbowl Social

Punchbowl Social is located in downtown Salt Lake City at the Gateway Mall. They offer food, drinks, karaoke, and a wide variety of games. Punchbowl offers both free and paid games while you are there. If you are not wanting to spend a lot of money you can order your drinks and sit down and play a game of giant jenga, cards, or darts. If you are wanting to add more to your night you can pay to bowl, play giant scrabble, and ping pong for less than $15 per hour. Punchbowl Social is a great place to go because it has everything your group might need whether that’s food, drinks or entertainment. 

4. Clark Planetarium

The Clark Planetarium was created with the vision of instilling inspiration and curiosity in subjects involving space and science into the minds of Salt Lake City residents. The planetarium is meant to attract people of all ages and all are welcome to its shows. The planetarium offers a variety of shows in its IMAX environment which also include 3D shows. The Clark Planetarium has also more recently included a Dome theatre which has laser light shows accompanied by music of artists such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The Clark Planetarium has been very inviting regarding the prices they charge and for the light show you are only looking at spending around $5-$9 a ticket.

5. TNT Guns & Range

Tired of being bored on Friday and Saturday Night? Come out with a BANG, and head over to TNT to get the best guns and burgers in SLC! With TNT’s top notch facility and latest technology, this makes a great date night or just a range night with your friends. Don’t own a gun? With a very wide variety of guns, you can test out their fully automatic guns, shot guns, and handguns that are all available for rental. Built in 2016, TNT has a 25-Yard Range priced at $15 a lane, a 100-yard Range priced at $20 a lane for the snipers, and the Nations First Indoor clay pigeon range priced at $30 for a half hour. Feel like you might want to spend a few hours here because you are having so much fun? Don’t worry, they are open late on Fridays and Saturdays! That even gives you enough time to head over to their restaurant, .357 Burgers. They provide one of the best burgers in the valley! The meat is ground fresh every day from the highest quality chuck. .357 burgers can be personally customized with a choice of three cheeses and 15 toppings on buns that are also baked fresh and delivered each day. They also have delicious Fries that are cooked in pure peanut oil and made to order with every burger. Its no wonder why TNT is the go-to spot for locals. I mean seriously, what is better than shooting guns and eating a burger?!
