Sugar House Park
This huge 110.5 acre park is nothing short of pure peacefulness! The perfect park for any time of year. In the winter, it is perfect for sledding on its luscious hills or a nice jog on the trails in summertime. This urban park has gorgeous views of mountains and has several ponds where you can fish or swim. It’s a great place for family time and one of the Salt Lake area‘s many outdoor getaways. Hidden Hollow Park
If its name didn’t tip you off, Hidden Hollow is a beautiful, somewhat secret preserve in the north end of Sugar House. This quiet getaway provides visitors with a break from the fast-moving city around it while still staying close to Sugar House’s many amenities. It’s only half an acre in size, but it doesn’t lack features including walking paths, benches, and a quiet creek running along the edge. Better still, if you are looking for something more high energy, you can walk right down the road to Sugar House Park (above).

Sugar House Coffee
Having a fun time exploring the hidden gems the Sugar House neighborhood has to offer, but need a break and a little pick me up? Enjoy one of the best coffee shops in Salt Lake City! Sugar House Coffee offers live local music several nights a week. Jazz Jam has been a Thursday tradition for years. Relaxing, sipping on a delicious beverage and listening to Jazz is a local’s favorite. In the summer the Wasatch Project Big Band sets up on their front patio for the entire community to enjoy. Their walls are lined with local art, and is a venue for the Sugar House Art Walk, held the 2nd Friday of every month.

Fairmont Aquatics Center
Need something to do on a hot summer day? Take your kids to the leisure pool to cool off and then enroll them in the many classes and camps that are offered such as swimming, gymnastics, and martial arts. While the kids are playing, take the plunge and get in a good swim in their 25m lanes or join one of their many aquatic fitness classes.
