Downtown Farmer’s Market – Salt Lake City

The downtown farmer’s market in Salt Lake City is one of the area’s most beloved traditions. This is the perfect place to come experience local art and local food on a Saturday afternoon. The environment is friendly to families and small children, so come see what Utah’s culture is all about! The event is home to hundreds of vendors, and has an abundance of produce, baked goods, and many other sweet treats! The Salt Lake Farmer’s Market is located at Pioneer Park (300 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84111) and is open on Saturdays from June 8th to October 19th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Keep in mind that some vendors accepts credit and debit cards, but not all.

Sugar House Farmers Market

The Sugar House Farmers Market is another local favorite. The Farmers Market in Sugar House was established in 2010. It is has quickly become a favorite for Utah farmers and vendors. There are currently over 50 different vendors at this market, and it is growing every year! It brings in many local Salt Lake food trucks, art, and produce. This market welcomes people of all ages and families are welcome.

The Sugar House Farmers Market also has a beer garden for those who would like to cool off on a warm summer day! It features the local brewery RoHa. The beer garden sells beer from open to close. Patrons are not allowed to take the market premises. Pair this with great food, live music, and good people and you are in for a great time! The market is located at Fairmont Park (1040 East Sugarmont Dr. Sugar House, UT 84106) and is open the second Sunday of each month from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The event starts in July and runs until September. Fairmont Park is just a few miles away from the also popular Sugar House Park.

Liberty Park Farmers Market

The beautiful Liberty Park in Salt Lake City also has a Farmers Market. This market has over 80 vendors that provide farm to table options for people in the surrounding area. There are many different food options, drinks, art, product, and treats to be had at the new Friday afternoon market! This market also supports a program called Art in the Park, providing opportunities for local artists to display and sell their work. Art in the Park events are every third Friday of the month. The Liberty Park Farmers Market is located at Liberty Park (600 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84105) and is open every Friday from 4:00 pm to dusk from June to October.

Historic Wheeler Farms Farmers Market

The Wheeler Farms Farmers Market provides local flavors that can be enjoyed on a sunny Sunday afternoon. They have a variety of vendors, fresh produce, and gifts. The historic farm is was protected as a regional park in 2000, and has many family friendly activities throughout the year. A unique aspect of this market is their Children’s Market, which gives children the opportunity to participate as vendors. This event happens the last Sunday of every month. Wheeler Historic Farm Farmers Market (6351 South 900 East Murray, UT 84121) is held every Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from June 2nd to October 27th.
