University of Utah

The University of Utah, located in Salt Lake City, is the flagship institution of the Utah System of Higher Education. Known for its strong research programs, the University of Utah offers over 100 undergraduate majors and more than 90 graduate programs across a wide range of fields, including business, engineering, health sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Visitors to the University of Utah can explore the expansive campus, which features state-of-the-art research facilities, museums, and art galleries. If you’re interested in seeing art, Utah has amazing art galleries everywhere!

There’s many things you can do at the University of Utah, if they don’t have a special event happening there’s a minimum of 12 things to do at the U. There’s a hike called the ‘Living Room’, and if you want to stay on Campus there’s an Edible Garden, the Marriot Library has a special collection of rare books if you’re an avid book enjoyer, and there’s also a Natural Museum as well. If you’re going sight-seeing around the University of Utah, mind as well check East High as well where High School Musically was filmed.

Brigham Young University

Located in Provo, Brigham Young University is a private university owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With a strong focus on undergraduate education and a commitment to the ideals of the Mormon faith, Brigham Young University offers over 180 undergraduate majors and more than 100 graduate programs across a range of fields, including business, education, engineering, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Visitors to Brigham Young University can explore the beautiful campus, which features stunning architecture and well-manicured grounds.

Although this is closer to the South of Utah, but it is on the way to SUU. It’s also the way to any National Parks in Utah, it’s a beautiful campus, and has an amazing animation studio that’s has connections with Disney. It’s also closed to UVU where many concerts are performed there.

 

Utah State University

Utah State University, located in Logan, is a public research university with a strong focus on undergraduate education. Known for its agricultural and engineering programs, Utah State University offers over 200 undergraduate majors and more than 100 graduate programs across a range of fields, including agriculture, business, education, engineering, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Visitors to Utah State University can explore the historic campus, which features beautiful buildings and green spaces.

Utah State is up north of Salt Lake, it’s perfect for hikes and snowboarding/skiing since it’s so close to the mountains. If you also really enjoy vintage market places, Utah State typically has something going on. There’s a vintage thrift bus that typically comes to Utah State or SUU.

Southern Utah University

Located in Cedar City, Southern Utah University is a public liberal arts university known for its commitment to personalized education and small class sizes. This could be a little out of the way if you’re visiting  the Salt Lake area, but it has an excellent theater program. There’s also a focus on undergraduate education and a wide range of majors across various fields, including business, education, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, Southern Utah University is an excellent choice for students seeking a high-quality education in a supportive environment. Visitors to Southern Utah University can explore the scenic campus, which features stunning views of the surrounding red rocks and mountains.
