The Sweet Tooth Fairy- Cupcake Wars Champion

It was finals week last semester and I was freaking out, as tradition demands. That is when I decided that I needed dessert and I needed it NOW! If you are lactose intolerant like I am, all of these ice cream places in Salt Lake sound delicious, but aren’t a good idea. I did a quick search and I found out that The Sweet Tooth Fairy had actually just been awarded Cupcake Wars champion by Food Network! The Sweet Tooth Fairy- just the name makes my mouth water!

The store front was cute and there was plenty of parking, which was nice. They also had a promotion going for $2 Tuesday. All of their cupcakes were just $2! So whether you’re looking for an inexpensive treat, or a great day activity for kids, The Sweet Tooth Fairy is just for you! I had to take a picture of their cupcake display because it looked so delicious!

I personally don’t have kids of my own quite yet, so I made my boyfriend go with me so we could try different kinds of, what were dubbed, the “best cupcakes in SLC” during Cupcake Wars. My boyfriend got the Carrot Cake and I went with the Peanut-Butter Chocolate. Both were DELICIOUS! They were the best cupcakes we had ever eaten.

There were even gluten-free desserts available for people who have that dietary restriction. The entire environment was cute, welcoming and inclusive. I have been back many times since that first search, and to this day the Sweet Tooth Fairy remains my favorite dessert place near me.
